Brush heads and replacements
Brush heads are made for a handle family, and the NHS advises changing them every 3 months. Here is which heads fit which handles.

- every 3 months (NHS)
- Per person
- 4 heads a year

The NHS advises replacing a toothbrush or brush head every 3 months, or sooner if the bristles are worn. That is 4 heads a year per person; our brush-head planner works out the total and your next change date.
Genuine heads are made by the brush maker; compatible heads are made by others to fit. Both are listed on Amazon. We state which handles each head fits, as the listing says.
