The Oral-B iO7 is a no-fuss choice for people who want the iO round head, a screen on the handle and quick charging, without paying for features they will ignore. Its most useful practical detail is the 3 hour fast charger, which pairs well with a display that always shows the battery level. For a daily brush that occasionally travels, it covers the basics with a little polish.

In its favour
- Five cleaning modes chosen on the display, which also tracks brushing time, head changes and battery level.
- A 3 hour fast charger and a travel case are included for trips.
- The app tracks how and where you brush in real time, and the specs list Bluetooth and a pressure sensor.
Good to know
- The travel case is a plain case, not a charging one, so take the charger on longer trips.
- Only one brush head comes in the box and battery life in days is not stated.
Our take
Display and modes
Amazon lists 5 cleaning modes, selected on the handle display, with teeth whitening among them. The display also tracks brushing time, shows battery level and prompts you to change the refill head at the right time.
Oral-B repeats the iO claims of 100 percent more plaque removal and 190 percent healthier gums in a week compared with a manual brush.
App and pressure
Pair the handle with the Oral-B app and, according to the listing, its AI follows which areas you are brushing as you go. It is optional, since the handle already handles the timer and reminders, but it helps if you suspect you skip the same spots every day.
The spec table lists a pressure sensor, Bluetooth, a brushing timer and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The bullets do not describe how the pressure signal looks, so the three-colour detail mentioned on other iO pages is not confirmed here.
Charging and what comes in the box
The 3 hour fast charger means a forgotten charge is not a disaster. You also get a travel case and one brush head, and the specs list a cover. Battery life is not stated in days.
The listing does not say the travel case charges the handle, so on longer trips you would pack the charger as well. Thanks to the quick charging time, that is less of a burden than with slower chargers, since an evening top-up in a hotel room is usually enough.
iO6 or iO8 instead?
The Oral-B iO6 has the same five-mode idea, names its Sensitive and Super-Sensitive settings, and adds spare heads, though it does not mention fast charging. The Oral-B iO8 brings the explicit three-way pressure sensor and a Limited Edition box, with a confusing 5 or 6 mode count.
Verdict
Buy the iO7 if you want a dependable iO with a display, five modes and a 3 hour fast charger. If gentle settings and spare heads matter more, the Oral-B iO6 is the better match, and if you want the pressure sensor's three signals clearly described, the Oral-B iO8 is the one to compare.
