# Best smart toothbrushes with an app Source: https://brushandfloss.co.uk/best/best-smart-toothbrush-with-app Publisher: Brush and Floss. Picks are based on what the Amazon listings state, not on hands-on testing. Method: https://brushandfloss.co.uk/how-we-pick A smart toothbrush connects to a phone app to record your brushing, but what the app actually tracks differs a lot between models. Some Oral-B iO handles use AI position detection to show which areas you covered. Newer Sonicare models show coverage on the handle itself, while older ones send progress reports to the app. A few even display feedback away from the phone. This guide compares eight app-connected brushes on exactly those points: which app they use, how they track position or coverage, whether there is a display on the handle or charger, how they signal pressure and how many modes they offer. Every detail comes from the Amazon listing; where it says nothing, we mark it as not stated. If you want feedback without picking up your phone each time, look closely at the display column. ## Products ### 1.
